Transfer of Registered Office (Intracantonal)

This product is for stock companies (AG) or limited liability companies (GmbH) that wish to transfer their registered office from one municipality to another municipality in the same canton. In order to transfer the registered office of your company within the canton, the articles of association must be amended. This amendment to the articles of association requires, among other things, a publicly notarized resolution of the general meeting (stock company) or the shareholders' meeting (limited liability company).

Who is this product for?

This product is for stock companies (AG) or limited liability companies (GmbH) that wish to transfer their registered office from one municipality to another municipality in the same canton. In order to transfer the registered office of your company within the canton, the articles of association must be amended. What is the procedure?

  4. Invoicing by us with advance payment by you
  5. Signature and public notarization in Root or granting of power of attorney
    • Voting rights are transferred to another person by power of attorney, so that the shareholder does not have to take part in the notarization
  6. Registration of the transfer of the registered office with the commercial register office by us
  7. Delivery of the publicly notarized documents to you by e-mail as an electronic version

How long does it take from ordering to completion?

After your order, we respond within 24 hours (on working days) and then start with the implementation.

It takes approx. 5 working days from the order to registration with the commercial register office. After that, the commercial register office requires 7-10 days for registration.

Important to know

To enable us to create the product, we need the following information and documents from your company: Names, addresses and identification documents of two authorized signatories (i.e. the persons who sign the commercial register application) as well as the current articles of association of your company (ideally as a Word file).

The price does not include commercial register fees.

In the event of further amendments to the articles of association, an additional fee of CHF 100 (excl. VAT) will be charged for each modification.
